Bennie at the Beach

Hi Everybody! It's been cold and wet here all this week and I haven't been able to get outside much at all. The backyard is filled with all of that white fluffy stuff, but every time I try to run around and play in it, my master tugs on my leash. It's fun to go outside, but my paws get cold very fast. I don't think my master enjoys it when its like this. When we go outside, he doesn't like to move much at all, and I have to drag him everywhere.

Today, we hopped in the car for a ride to the beach. It was cold there, but I got to run back and forth and explore. I chased the ball, ran with my master, and got to smell all sorts of different new smells. There were a few new smells that were really exciting!

I FEEL GOOD!!!!!!!

Wow! What a week! On Monday, I went to see the nice veterinarian man. At first he poked and prodded at me and touched me with some sharp objects which didn't feel good at all. But then, he trimmed some of the hair between my legs, and that felt so good. Ever since he did that, my trips outside have been felt so much better.

On Thursday, I went back to the same building, and started the day with a nice warm bath. That felt really good because there was a big snowstorm outside. After the bath, another girl brushed my hair out, then the first girl came back with this tool that made some noise. I was scared at first, but then she started rubbing me with the tool and all my hair started falling off! That felt extra good because there were several spots where the hair was all tangled and knotted up. The girl used that machine on the hair around my face too. Now, I can finally see everything!

When my master came and picked me up, he kind of looked at me funny, but I just jumped up into his lap and started licking him like I usually do.

So this is what I look like now.












Today, my masters took me for a long walk in the snow. It was cold out, but I kept running around to keep myself warm. When we reached the top of the hill my male master pulled a ball out his pocket and let me chase it.



After that, we all went home and took a long nap.

Hi everybody! Here are some photos of my new family. I just love my new family. They take me for walks, and let me run around in the backyard, and pet me and brush my hair every day. I'm such a lucky dog to have such a wonderful group of humans to live with.



This is my female master. She takes me on long walks, and feeds me treats whenever I am good. We like to sit on the couch and watch TV shows about other dogs.



This is my male master. He take me for walks, and brushes my hair almost every day. When he sits in his chair, I like to sit at his feet and guard him from any danger.



This is my Aunti Pam! I visited her for the first time two days ago. She likes to scratch my neck and let me chase the ball around her backyard. I had so much fun visiting her, I hope my masters let me visit again real soon.

Snow Day!!!!

When I went out for my morning walk today, the ground was covered with white fluffy stuff! It was really cold in some places, but it was so much fun to just run around in it and watch it fly. While I was out, I also met some of my neighbors. I was ready to check out there house, but my master called me and told me to come with him. We went for a nice long walk around the block. I thought I recognized where I was was, but wasn't sure because the white fluffy stuff covered everything. Even some of the familiar smells weren't as strong as they usually were. Anyhow, I got to go on a few car rides with my female master too. On the last trip, I was looking at a large building when my male master came out the door. I sure missed him today, maybe some day he'll take me into that large building with him.

My new Home!

Hi everybody! My name is Bennie and I have a new home with two wonderful masters. On my first day with them we went for a long drive, and then a long walk. I just love riding in a car. It's so neat to watch all the people drive by. My new masters kept reaching back and scratching my neck. I just love that. After the drive, we went for a long walk in the woods. I got to go for a short run with my master, run around in the leaves, and say hello to a few other dogs and their masters. After that I finally got to check out my new home. Later in the evening I was sitting on my master's lap when all of a sudden, eight new people came through the door! Everybody was so nice to me, petting me, scratching my neck, calling me . . . I was in doggy heaven! Today was such a great day, I hope every day is the same!
